Scam targets internal tapatia customers

A feign website posing as “La Tapatia #3” in Goleta is scamming customers, warns Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce E. Dudley.

The webpage “lataptia3ca.club” is not dependent with a internal bakery though instead is related to a website named OrderHero. The site allows online grouping and takes patron remuneration information, though a grill does not accept a orders or money.

The website is now unavailable, so a rascal could be offline.

The District Attorney advises to use counsel when purchasing products online. She recommends verifying websites before ordering.

Anyone with information per feign websites such as OrderHero and online scams can hit Investigator Greg Hons with a District Attorney’s Office during (805) 568-2390.

Victims of rascal are speedy to hit a law-enforcement group with office where a crime occurred.

Hiker discovered from Hot Springs Trail

MONTECITO — The Montecito Fire Protection District discovered a hiker pang from feverishness depletion on a Hot Springs Trail Monday during 5:30 p.m.

Montecito Fire sent a UTV, an offroad car versed with a gurney, to strech a unsettled hiker.

“Please be aware of your boundary and opt to practice during a cooler hours of a day during this heatwave,” a Montecito Fire posted on Twitter.

Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue assisted on this mission.
