BREVARD COUNTY — The intersection of Wickham Road and Pineda Causeway is too dangerous, even regulating a crosswalk, according to a Brevard County resident.
Pete Loop takes his bike everywhere, including during Wickham Road and Pineda Causeway.

It’s not all drivers’ fault.
When Loop is watchful to step into a crosswalk, he’s distant from a intersection and partially dark by bushes. The crosswalk watchful plcae creates it formidable to see for northbound Wickham Road drivers wanting to spin to eastward on Pineda Causeway.
“They don’t see me when I’m crossing,” Loop said.

“In response to this reserve concern, staff has evaluated a intersection and identified ways to urge walking safety,” Brevard County orator Don Walker said. “Signage will be combined to remind motorists roving north and branch right onto Pineda to demeanour for and produce to pedestrians in a crosswalk.”
In addition, they’re going to cut down on foliage during a dilemma in sequence to revive a line of steer to a crosswalk and walking curb.
Loop pronounced he hopes it helps.
In a meantime, he pronounced he’ll have to take his chances channel a street.
