M4 brought to a delay after 3 car collision

A male was liberated from a crumpled automobile and taken to sanatorium on a spinal house after a collision on a M4 on Saturday.

Three vehicles collided nearby Reading Services on a westbound carriageway shortly after 4pm on Saturday, Jun 11.

A male who was in one of a vehicles was put on a spinal house as a prevision and driven to a Royal Berkshire Hospital.

Two other people who were concerned in a collision were assessed during a stage by paramedics though did not need serve treatment.

Motorists faced serious delays as trade on both carriageways was brought to a delay temporarily to concede an atmosphere ambulance to land, however it was not required.

According to trade news website INRIX all lanes on both carraigeways have given been reopened.

However, there are residual delays on a westbound carriageway between junctions 11 (Reading) and 12 (Theale).

Firefighters, paramedics and military officers were all in attendance.

The closure also had an impact on a series of Reading Buses services.
